          From what I know on the topic (basically from a podcast), this move by Macron was necessary to offset or delay an impending financial crisis in France given the "booming" (get it?) retirement population and lack of younger citizens to help pay for it. A situation we're seeing in many first world countries.

            AI will in fact be a solution for this. You no longer need more people to contribute to the economy.
