    This guy claims that the third movement of the Moonlight sonata is being played way too quickly (using Valentina as an example). His point is that later, when it gets into the 1/32 notes, everyone plays them at the same speed as the 1/16 notes in the beginning.

      OK, so modern pianists have made the Moonlight-III better, or if not better, at least more appealing to modern sensibilities. No big, just move on already.

        Weird to hear it slower, but I also kinda liked it! Allows my ears time to appreciate all of the intricacies in the notes.

          Interesting. Made me think as how Liszt would have interpreted this or how he approached it with his students.

            That guy is a weirdo. For years he has made videos that somehow all kinds of pieces must be played at half tempo. His arguments are BS if you ask me.
