      All in favor of it.

Kids do not need to be exposed to a drag queen anything. If the hotel wants to have such an event, 18 and over.

I hope this sends a chilling effect throughout the state.

A Cleveland brewery company just took over my fave brewpub here, Cartridge. I told their manager they were making a mistake hosting drag shows here in deep red Warren County, especially in what was a very family friendly establishment. He just said they were family friendly, but also inclusive.

I predict sales are about to go down. They also had some sort of rainbow banner on their patio.

I don’t think they did their market research. The beer was never that great, but the food was very good and it was full service. Now you have to order online from a QR code or wait in line at the bar. We’re moving on.

When you are shoving it in the face of folks who don’t care to view it. The people who come out to see this will not be the regulars, and you know there will be bad behavior.

If I took Finley into a burlesque show, they would be shut down in a NY minute. Why is there special consideration because they are queer?

You’re right. Burlesque is often much less sexualized content.

Regardless of your personal feeling, the state has no legal justification to penalize the hotel if there is no law prohibiting the presence of minors at drag shows.

It also cited a criminal law against disorderly conduct, and one against the “unlawful exposure of sexual organs” — a first-degree misdemeanor, a crime if done in a “vulgar or indecent manner.” First-degree misdemeanors, in Florida, are generally punishable by up to a year in jail, while committing a second-degree misdemeanor can lead to a term of up to 60 days behind bars.

If it wasn't offensive, it wouldn't need to be 'included'. They are the same line, just described by people on opposite sides of it.

@LuFins-Dad there's a twitter account called "The First Amendment." That account is defending drag shows.

                                        Fine.

I'm awaiting it to defend drag shows in front of 6 year olds.

By the way, on a sort of related topic, I still haven't heard if Ax objects to his kids seeking out porn.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

As one wag said, "We ought to hire illegal immigrants to hunt groomers. We could call it Alien vs. Predator.
