...and I for one am bloody well staying that far away.
Larry did say it was time to thin the herd.
According to the administration there were a million tickets requested.
Seems like they didn’t fill up the stadium, dismantled the second stage outside and cancelled the second rally.
Guessing some people still do care about covid.

@xenon you made me go onto YouTube and watch some of it, he is totally in his element. It’s actually very entertaining. Almost reminds me of WWE (wrestling) speeches.
Also not a surprise that some black Trump supporters coincidentally got seats directly behind him for the TV angles.
-
Why should I watch a Trump rally, when here in Portland we can watch statues being defaced or toppled, angry people protesting something or another, mostly white crowds chanting about black lives, etc.
Kinda cool and rainy here though, so not as big crowds either. -
Trump campaign blames protesters for disappointing turnout at Tulsa rally https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/20/trump-rally-tulsa-coronavirus-reset-2020-campaign-330248
There is always someone else to blame.

Is that your big take away? Was that your observation? I watched the first hour and the crowd look very large and enthusiastic.

I'm on my second bottle of wine this weekend. I bet I'm having a lot more fun than those fuckers at either the Trump rally or the protests, and all I'm doing is watching frankly quite hilarious cat videos on YouTube. Much smaller chance of contracting Covid, and furthermore I don't have to listen to Donald Trump or wonder why people keep mis-spelling 'racist'.
I know, I know, I should be reading Schopenhauer or something, but fuck, Mr. Tibbles accidentally falling in the toilet is a lot more inspiring.

Made a slight change to your statement. LOL

Some numbers:
" ... a tally taken by the fire marshal clocked the turnout at just under 6,200 people"
Of course, that's still 6,200 more than Mr. Biden's non-rally.

Sour grapes.
The rally was entertaining and a success. I'm sure Trump would have liked a packed house, but times are what they are.
Can anyone even imagine The Dementia Patient pumping up a crowd like that?
No, but he’s leading a broad-based political movement, not a cult.
Trump drew much larger crowds than Hillary and still got fewer votes. Bernie drew bigger crowds than Biden (and Hillary) and still came up short on the voting.
Crowds just aren’t a great metric. Or at least not a reliable one.

People may vote against Trump, but they ain't voting for Biden.

That depends on how much they are paid.

This is true. And the other way too.

No, there are millions who will vote for Trump. There is a definite enthusiasm gap.

Agree, but also millions who will vote for President Trump because they do not like the alternate.
@Mik (I apologize if I am remember wrong) I think said something like, "I will hold my nose and vote for President Trump". And I am sure he is not alone.
At the end of the day, it does not matter your reason behind your vote, what only matters is how you voted.
