Imagine if you couldn’t get rid of all the ones Trump appointed.

Some people just can’t think things through.

Next President will pull a Clinton and fire the whole shebang.

It would be the only prudent thing to do...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

My thread title is even more apt now than I initially thought it would be!

        https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/20/nyregion/trump-geoffrey-berman-fired-sdny.html

In Bill Barr’s publicly released letter to Berman:
“Because you have declared that you have no intention of resigning, I have asked the President to remove you as of today, and he has done so.”

        Then:
“Speaking briefly to reporters outside the White House before heading to a campaign rally in Tulsa, Okla., Mr. Trump appeared to try to distance himself from the firing. Mr. Trump insisted that he was “not involved,” despite Mr. Barr’s letter, which made clear that Mr. Trump had dismissed [Mr. Berman].

        What a twist! 🍿 🍿

"Appeared" is such a nebulous word. More like Barr decided the guy needed to go and the guy wouldn't go, so Barr made it formal. If I was CEO Trump and one of my VP's wanted to can a guy, I'd say ok.

I'm not sure if you would call that "involved" or not.

I think we should all take a long moment to reflect on whether that attorney is racist.

                  Education is extremely important.

He actually fired twice. The first time the stupid twat shot himself himself in the foot AGAIN, the second time, whether by luck or judgement, he actually managed to hit the intended target.

                    I was only joking

I'm fairly sure Trump is teetotal.
