Screwed is right.
Here in SoCal, Kaiser Permanente saw a 30% increase in COVID19 hospitalizations in the last 3 weeks. Every single one of their hospitals saw an uptick. They do attribute it to the governor loosening up restrictions and the protests.

Today I had 3 good buddies meeting at a brewery in Falls Church, VA. I almost joined but with the rainy weather figured the outdoor seating would not be realistic so I stayed home. I got a pic from them, all inside, maybe a few feet from each other but no one with a mask (hard to drink beer with a mask on). It sucks to voluntarily decline these types of social interactions.

I feel you 89th. It's getting harder to reign my kids in. They've been pretty good about the lockdown. But the tedium of being at home is getting to them. One of them had a bit of a meltdown last week. It's not as if my kids are isolated; friends will drive up, stay in the car, and visit while my kids stay on the lawn, masks on. But it's not enough. We finally agreed that one friend at a time could come over if they test negative. We're probably being too strict, but it's what we're comfortable with. And like you said, it sucks.

I'm sitting here canceling orders on a couple of COVID patients that died last night. Talked with one of the respiratory gals, that works at a 300-bedder 35 miles from here...They're back to bumping hearts, because of COVID patients.
The virus has not gone away....
