It's like just another day in Chicago courts, so not surprising it happens in Minnesooota.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

The convict was himself a minor when the original trial started in juvenile court. His charges were dismissed then refiled, and at one point he was offered a plea deal that does not include any prison time at all.

Lots of irregularities and some will probably never be fully publicized because some of the proceedings happened in juvenile court.

Look, when you define deviancy downward, you (societal you) will no longer be appalled by the heinous.

It's just another day, with a minor infraction.

He was 16 at the time, plenty old enough to know exactly what he was doing, that it was illegal, and that these little kids were LITTLE KIDS.

He should have been tried as an adult, especially because he repeatedly raped the little kids.

In some families, 180 sentence would have meant he might live 180 days before he had an accident cleaning his gun, fell asleep on train tracks, or did a slip and fall into a stone quary.
