How about that. Nobody likes a loser. Some things can’t be unseen Bolton. You fvcked your legacy.

Suddenly and out of nowhere we are compelled to #believebolton.
Please ignore everything we previously wrote about him.
You can’t make this up.
I never complained about his honesty rather his extreme hawkish to the point of trigger-happy foreign policy views. Trump came around to my view eventually.
But to your question, who do you think is more trustworthy in his assessment of the conversations covered in the book, Trump or Bolton?
Bump for Loki.
Bump again for Loki.

Oh Bolton is a spurned lover. I don’t believe he has the capacity to understand things and will seek to interpret everything in a particular way. I’ve seen it too often.
His ego has been shattered to the point where he can’t even see that he is systematically destroying himself. The deconstruction of self is tragic.
Money won’t help and if he ever figures out how he is being used by people he despises, well I wouldn’t want to be there for that.

I’m a little curious, let’s take this quote from the BBC list:
The US president "stunningly, turned the conversation to the coming US presidential election [in 2020], alluding to China's economic capability and pleading with Xi to ensure he'd win," Mr Bolton writes.
"He stressed the importance of farmers and increased Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat in the electoral outcome."You think that’s out of character for Trump? I mean, if you saw a taped recording of that, how shocked would you be?

Yeah I would like to see what was actually said. It would be stunning given how much Trump has blamed China for Coronavirus. China should drop the mike on Trump if they had Kompromat. Why not?

Don’t forget how much he was praising Xi as recently as late Feb. Bolton’s writing about 2018-19.
Anyway interesting to see where your thoughts are on this.
Trump slammed China worse than Bolton. I guess we will just have to wait for Xi’s book. I mean face saving is so important for the Chinese, Trump is rubbing their nose in do do.

I would never defend Trump to the ends of the earth.
Indeed you normally don’t, which is why I thought it curious you were so quick to call Bolton a liar.
Actually I was taking on Bolton irrespective of Trump. I find his behavior so despicable I want It to be addressed in its own right.
I think Trump lies early and often. I honestly can’t tell if Bolton told a narrative with some truths to exact his revenge in a disingenuous way. Nevertheless I am confident he hurt himself more than Trump.

The rationale is always “look at actions, not words”. Bolton’s stuff is all words. Nothing particularly revealing.
The one time when Bolton could have leveraged his words into the most action, i.e. during the impeachment proceedings, he hesitated and missed the window.

I would have thought that the biggest security concern about Bolton's claims are that, if true, they would indicate that an imbecile is running the country.

The problem with that is that you start off on a false assumption, which causes you to arrive at a conclusion that's 180 out of phase with the truth. Bolton's claims are not true, and Trump is running a country with a lot of embeciles in it.

I didn't start off assuming anything, that's why I wrote 'If true'. Some will say that historically Bolton has been more trustworthy than Trump, some clearly now think otherwise.

"If true" is the current trendy way of injecting bare assed lies into an issue and then claiming innocence when one gets called out for it. You don't get to hide behind an "If true" card with me.
A fellow named Larry Sinclair wrote a book detailing his homosexual encounter with Obama, and how they smoked crack together in the back of a limo while giving each other blow jobs. IF TRUE, a formal investigation into his untimely and suspicious death would be warranted. Several people have come forward over the years stating that Michelle Obama is a man. IF TRUE, that would lend credibility to Sinclair's claim that Obama is a cocksucker.
See how it works? Saying "If true" does not negate the fact that you built a complete narrative and conclusion around a false assumption.

Too funny, but in a sad way, true.
