Without googling and judging from the responses and without opening the answer, I would put it more towards a third.
Why? Because I would guess that there are more older homeowners who have payed their mortgage. Younger folks may tend to rent more and more. So it sways the percentage to that side.
Ok now I looked and I see I was right. That’s probably what I would have guessed anyway without seeing the reaction to the low ball figures.
