My wife's out getting a tattoo done,* so she took the car. Mine doesn't have a car seat in it.
I ordered food online from a place about 3 miles away, but the fuckers made it a pickup order even though I explicitly chose delivery. And there's no fast way to contact them.
It's about 45 degrees out, and soppy as all get-out with a good chance of more rain. But we're taking the bike and the trailer and we're picking up our dinner con sarnit.
Really glad I bought those waterproof Ortlieb panniers a few years back.
*for her dad, who was in the Navy. She's into that kinda thing.

Just got back. I froze my ass off. LOTS of road spray and the wind was incredible. We (I) decided to eat there instead and thaw out. Then it was time to hit the road. Took the back way back because I was pooped and didn't want to contend with traffic.
When we got back, Kiddo didn't want to go in.

Just got back. I froze my ass off. LOTS of road spray and the wind was incredible. We (I) decided to eat there instead and thaw out. Then it was time to hit the road. Took the back way back because I was pooped and didn't want to contend with traffic.

It was pretty damn cold. I was in the impossible position of choosing between going slower, prolonging the cold, or going faster, intensifying it. But kiddo had a blast.
