META cares about your skin color

I was just looking at a hotel on Facebook and came across this.
Is this meant to bring in business to your favorite race or to warn about the owner's potentially offensive race?

About diverse business categories
People can find and support businesses with diverse ownership. If your business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by individuals from a diverse category, you can add this information to your business Page. This designation doesn’t make assumptions about anyone who manages the Page. Categories may be used by Meta to feature your business in campaigns or to invite you to participate in other programs on Facebook.
We offer the following diverse business categories:
Asian-owned
Black-owned
Disabled-owned
Latin-owned
Indigenous-owned
LGBTQ+ owned
Middle Eastern-owned
Pacific Islander-owned
Women-owned
Veteran-owned
People visiting your Page or shop will be able to see your category in the About section.

This is just building racism.
Funny you should say that...Saw an interview last night with a black gentleman who had been on the Civil Rights Commission for twenty years. His point was that heritage is fine, but not at the expense of being an American first. Being an American, we must believe the Melting Pot works, as long as equality is enforced. Equality, not equity. He believed the equity movement to be nothing but camouflaged racism.
