Umm probably because those numbers are full of shit and the CDC and FDA at least attempt to base their numbers on fact.
Meh, even if the numbers are legit, that’s still .02% of the people fully vaccinated… There are always going to be a number of bad reactions to any vaccine or medicine. The question is whether .02% is a satisfactory risk vs the risk of the disease itself.
But I’ve said it before, the VAERS system being open to the public was a horrible idea from the beginning.
And here's what vaxx opponents will tell you: What is the crude fatality rate of COVID in the American population?

My surgeon friend has been forwarding all kinds of anti-vax stuff since I posted here last.
Here's the most recent, talking about "Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (VAIDS).
Anyhow, he texted me, and another guy we used to work with (a urologist) about getting together for breakfast. By the way, this urologist is also the target of these text messages.
Reluctantly, I agreed, fearing a 90 minute tirade about how the vaccines are untested and dangerous.
Remarkably, breakfast was a delight. We chatted about our families, reminisced on the good old days of medicine, some politics (Jussie), etc.
After about an hour, the surgeon went to the bathroom, and I looked at the urologist and said, "While Bills in the bathroom, let me ask you: Have you noticed that almost NOTHING has been said about vaccines?"
"Yeah, I think he's being polite since neither of us respond to his vaccine texts, LOL."
Well Bill came back and tried - talking about the supposed 90K deaths reported in the VAERS system due to the vaccine.
I didn't engage, and after a few minutes of non-conversation, we drifted back to other stuff. I left after another 15 minutes or so.
All-in-all, a pleasant morning.

The real question, the answer to which really evades me, is what Western governments are hoping to achieve with this conspiracy. I'm pretty sure that the more dictatorial governments outside the West have lied about the dangers, and downplayed the suffering caused.
So.... what good has come out of this for any western government? Has wearing a mask made us beholden in some way to a cabal of something-or-other? Has getting vaccinated in some way made us subjects rather than citizens? What benefit to these folks get?
What possible powergrab could come out of shutting down pubs and restaurants, barbers shops and department stores?
It's all shit.

4 of us retired geezers had lunch on Wednesday, including the guy I've mentioned in the past.
We talked about the fentanyl crisis, and I gave my thoughts which I posted here about the fentanyl hysteria, and this morning he sent me a link from the Epoch Times depicting the cop who supposedly "came into contact" with fentanyl and was "resuscitated" with intranasal naloxone.
I responded the the link from Reason about the hysteria and also the YouTUbe interview with the toxicologist ER doc.
Then...we started talking about Hamlin. He said that commotion cordis is exceptionally rare (which it is) and usually involves in boys younger than Hamlin. Then, he said that it's impossible for this to occur with the type of hit that Hamlin took, which was from a large object. Usually, he said, it's something smaller, like a baseball or elbow.
Looking at the video I posted in the Hamlin thread, it looks like the hit was not by the helmet, but by the shoulder. Perhaps I'm not seeing it correctly, but...
However, we were assured that what probably happened was a sensitization of Hamlin's heart caused by...you guessed it...the COVID vaccine.
