Oh, I admit to checking in here a good bit, and occasionally on another couple of boards, but you're also looking at a guy that does just a half dozen texts in a week.

In fact, that pricked my curiosity, so I checked my phone...4 texts in 7 days.

And I don't do Faceypage, Instaglam or ChikTok.

That's quite the addiction you have, Jolly. 😄

Only 1 text in over 7 days. No Faceyspace. No Instaslam. No DikTok.

          LOL

Maybe Jon or Aqua's sisters would be able to answer this?

Yeah it’s a major major issue, and highly rude as a guest. Probably my biggest pet peeve is when my wife is scrolling infinitely on IG when there’s stuff to do around the house. But, I also get it’s a break/escape for a mom of 2-soon-3, so it’s all good.

I usually go on TNCR from my computer btw, probably 90% of the time.

The side effect of the Internet making it easier for you to access other parts of the world is that it also makes it easier for you to access other parts of the world that are more interesting than where you are at any given time.

                  You got a boring basement?

Someone somewhere has an even more interesting basement that you can see over the Internet.

Do parents normally attend these events?

Never mind texting, I'd rather poke my own eyes out with a spoon than watch sports practice.

                      I was only joking

Probably had to drive the kids there and didn't feel like going home and making a second trip to retrieve them.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I mean, the kids practicing are like 7 years old so yes the parents drive the kids there and stay for the 30-45 minutes of practice. I'm not saying I don't look at my iPhone when I'm out, but there is something just sad about being so glued to your phone when your kids' time with you is flying by.

Oh, ok - yes, you're right, that makes more sense. I'd assumed the kids were older. We used to do the karate stuff at that age, and I wouldn't have missed it for anything.
