    How to fix soccer:

    1. The field is fucking huge. Shrink it.

    2. Too many players on the field. Limit to three forwards, two defenders, and a goalie.

    3. Players should get to come in and out whenever they want. Don’t stop the game.

    4. Shrink the goal.

    You just described indoor.

            5. Ice everywhere

            6. Do not allow draws

            7. No red cards. Just short time-outs so teams have a one man advantage for a limited period of time

            8. Permit fighting so players self-police and stop relying on refs to maintain fair play.

What is the problem Americans have with draws outside of playoff competition?

While I have no issue with sudden death overtime in hockey matches, the inclusion of shootouts NHL regular season when the ten minute overtime is finished is just plain stupid. What is the problem US fans have with two teams playing to a draw and collect a point each like it was before all the expansions into American cities that really had no ice hockey traditions or established fan base?

            Elbows up!

I don't know enough about hockey to answer the question. I can only say that if football hadn't captured my interest beforehand, I would probably have gone for hockey.

I can't imagine ever being interested in soccer.

OK, how about this to improve soccer?

                1. Everybody stops every three minutes for a commercial break.

                2. You have a big half-time show where some bird gets her knockers out "accidentally".

                3. Before every game, murdering the national anthem is obligatory.

                4. Concussion? What concussion? I feel fine. Who are you, again?

                5. Sorry, I don't think those are the rules. I'm going to need to do my own research.

                I was only joking

Yes you have to wait for all the information to come in before making any judgment about what the rules are.

Nix. We need the break to have explained to us what just happened out there.

                        #7 would work.

                        Would speed up golf, too.
