Why do Lions gain perspective by killing humans? I imagine that maybe, having finally tasted the ultimate prey and finding the meal rather mundane, they may turn to other life goals. Learning a foreign language?

Yeah, but that’s generally because people aren’t stupid enough to go smack lions on their noses when trying to escape enclosures…

Nah, lions gain supper. Humans are much slower than most other African game.
You know how it is when you no longer care for fast food . ..

They should probably have made Jaws about a giant hippo, rather than a giant Great White - sharks in total only kill about 4 people a year. If nothing else, there'd be comedic potential.
