Hallmark movies is considered a very good job by actors.
Why?
Steady, undemanding work, reasonable hours and locations.
Typical filming time is about 15 days.
No massive retakes, so you have to deliver your lines first time (most of the time). Locations are normally in Canada, and once there, very little travel. Guys crank out one or two Christmas movies a year, and then one or two other shows for the channel.
I remember reading something Bure said a few years ago, where they sometimes will film two movies back-to-back in the same town, changing out one of the leads and a few of the supporting actors...Makes it even cheaper to film.

I have never seen a Hallmark Christmas movie. Neither has Mrs. George.
They have more happy endings than a Korean massage parlour.
Or so I've heard.

Grace Abundant would be quite a good name for an adult movie star.
Or a Sean Connery/Roger Moore era Bond girl.

I think rubbing one off to a "spiritual, faith-based, conservative-family-oriented" Christmas movie might be beyond most of our capabilities, although I'm sure we all love a challenge over the holidays.

I dunno. The women are all pretty hot.
We should write to Candace Cameron Bure commending her for getting rid of all that gayness as we can now pleasure ourselves to her wholesome movies with a relatively clear conscience.
-
@Doctor-Phibes I don't think Candace cares what you think. OTOH, you could tell her husband, the hockey player.

He’d probably welcome the distraction if he’s in a house that thinks Hallmark movies are too risqué

They’re not risqué, they just portray a lifestyle the network does not approve of.
A perfect example of the difference between tolerance and endorsement.

Well I hope they don’t get all religious. I hate the way Christmas has been hijacked by Christians. They have been trying to undermine the traditional holiday values of rampant capitalism, gluttony and drunkenness in recent years, which is a worrying trend.

Wasn’t he a character in Hill Street Blues?

Some of the hallmark movies are okay, but I watched on that was so bad, it was (unintentionally (I think)) funny. The "snow" on the bushes was obviously cotton fluff, and then in the next scene they were driving down a street with palm trees, etc. Definiltey was filmed on a low budget. LOL
