Two networks that nobody will watch fighting to see which one nobody will watch less.

You'd be surprised how many people watch these things. I wasn't aware of it until they filmed a Christmas movie in my hometown a few years ago.
Isn't Christmas bad enough already?

Once again, I misunderestimated the good taste of the American public.

Hallmark movies is considered a very good job by actors.
Why?
They get paid well and nobody capable of going outside unassisted will recognize them in the street?

Steady, undemanding work, reasonable hours and locations.

GAF, Halmark, Up and Lifetime have already gone to Christmas movies.
And you guys still worry about going to hell when you die?

Those sound more like the kind of movie you see on the Satanic Pr0n Channel.
Grace Abundant would be quite a good name for an adult movie star.

Typical filming time is about 15 days.
No massive retakes, so you have to deliver your lines first time (most of the time). Locations are normally in Canada, and once there, very little travel. Guys crank out one or two Christmas movies a year, and then one or two other shows for the channel.
I remember reading something Bure said a few years ago, where they sometimes will film two movies back-to-back in the same town, changing out one of the leads and a few of the supporting actors...Makes it even cheaper to film.

I have never seen a Hallmark Christmas movie. Neither has Mrs. George.
They have more happy endings than a Korean massage parlour.
Or so I've heard.

Or a Sean Connery/Roger Moore era Bond girl.
