Interesting.
If I were to make a flag that obviously was not a Confederate flag, but did look a little bit like a Confederate flag, would that be OK?Ax, what do you think?

Rainman, I say go for it. The confederate flag's design is seen in so many other flags, including many state flags. Can we just ban red white and blue, plz?

NASCAR moves to the left.
Again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again....

Motorsports racing in general waste resources and polutes the environment. The entire sports can disappear entirely with little to no loss to humanity.
Whether it is OK for you to “make a flag that obviously was not a Confederate flag, but did look a little bit like a Confederate flag”, the answer is YES as far as I am concerned. Whether it is then OK to display said flag at any NASCAR events is up to NASCAR.

Thanks as always, Ax!
I was thinking of putting it on the back of my motorcycle.
Problem is, it would likely clash with the paint job, and we can't have that now, can we.Ax, any chance you know what type of fabric would be best, that could take flapping in an 80 mph breeze? I think polyester, maybe nylon. Help me out here guy.

What cnn calls "one little-known driver" has quit NASCAR because of this policy.
NASCAR Cup Series stars Jimmie Johnson, Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch have all respectively severed ties with a racing helmet designer after the brand account lashed out online about NASCAR's decision to ban the confederate flag at racing events.

Basically you’re talking outdoor, high wind; the answer is polyester.
