This is one of those books I should have read in high school and I didn't.

I read it about 15 years ago.

Doesn't seem like we have learned much about war and the affects of war over the last 100 years.

Doesn't matter if it's 100 years ago, a 1000 years ago or 10,000 years ago.

I suspect war shaming has become more and more of a thing. Which is appropriate, as lives become longer and less desperate. People with longer and less desperate lives should avoid war more. Just have to hope that both sides of any potential war have that same quality of life.

Watched it this morning.

Depressing is the understatement of the month. Wonderfully crafted, horribly gruesome, and epically depressing, indeed.

Highly recommended, but be prepared for lots of violence, tears, explosions, and mud.

I watched it a couple days ago.

It is a terrific show.

You'll want to be in the mood for WW I trench warfare because that is what you will get.

A little slice of hell in Europe.
