A lot of shows on there that I really want to watch.

FWIW, The Shield is the best TV show I've ever seen.

"The Wire" gets consistently high ratings. For some reason, I just can't get into it.
"Six Feet Under" had the best finale of any TV show....ever.
"The Expanse." Yeah, my favorite SF show. Better than Trek (in any iteration), BSG.
"Justified" because of Elmore Leonard.
But, you have a two year old, so forget about it.

Really.
I should check it out.

@George-K True, I have a growing list of movies (and now TV shows) I hope to watch at some point, but not much time these days. It's OK, a trade off I wouldn't trade.
Thanks for your other comments...good to know! For The Shield, you may have to remember it was gritty back when the style (including camera work) was somewhat new and groundbreaking. Not sure how it compares...I just remember it being just a level above other shows. Then again, I also really liked 24 with Jack Bauer. That was a fun show.
Totally different...Manhattan was also a great show. Not show how popular it was, but it explores the building of the first atomic bomb.

Bonanza is obviously #1.
It wasn't even mentioned.
How about Gunsmoke and Dragnet?

Pfft! All English except four Japanese animes.
At best, it’s “100 Best TV dramas watched by English-speaking Americans.” -

In the top 25 I’ve only seen the sopranos and one season of the wire.

In the entire list, I've seen 41 - of those 41 about half a dozen were only one season or so.

I have seen 11 of the 100.
9 of the 11 only recently on Netflix or Amazon, none on HBO.
Only 2 on the original broadcast - Twilight Zone and Hitchcock.

Not on the list is "Dead to Me" which has Christina Applegate. It's good - and they've released a second season recently.

Started watching it.
Wow.
Very disturbing and very good. Mackey is at once contemptible and engaging. Great performance by Chicklis. I'll finish season 1 by the end of the weekend and take a break before plunging on.

@George-K Terrific! I haven't seen it in maybe 12 years which is long enough for me to forget most of the details. Maybe I'll binge watch it in the near future, too. I just watched a few clips on youtube and forgot how good they develop some of the characters over time.

Finishing up season 4 of The Shield.
Truly remarkable.
In the dictionary, under "edgy" you'll find "The Shield."

I’ve only seen 23 all though and then another 25 in varying degrees. Interesting how much good stuff I abandoned for one reason or another.
Putting The Shield in the queue.

Cool George! Yeah edgy, and somewhat of a groundbreaking style (hello hand/shaky cam) too.

It's now, what, 15 years old?
What's happened to all the stars?
Chiklis is not doing much.
Dent is not doing much.
And the guy who played "Danny's" partner is in jail, serving a 40 year sentence for murdering his wife....

Lost me when they ranked Person Of Interest above Ozark.

Not really click-bait-ey. But an interesting list.
At least it's all on one page you can scroll through.
Interesting selections, including The Twilight Zone, The Sopranos, Deadwood....
#1 wasn't really much of a surprise, but I'm sure many others could have qualified.
