A Medical Fallacy

@George-K True enough. But I don’t know what point it serves. Maybe the uncertainty is relevant with a six week rule, but 15?

The fact that she refuses to be pinned down as to when "life" begins, and by extension, when it's OK to terminate the pregnancy.
And, what she says is wrong. It's not a fallacy. Pregnancy begins with fertilization.

Of course, but the point I thought was being made is you can’t restrospectively determine exactly when that was. IOW, no physician can say that this girl is 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant whereas the one over here is 6 weeks and a day, so the first can have the abortion but not the second.
And having a 6 week limit rather implies that we can.

Making a measurement or a judgment does not imply 100% confidence that there is no error.

I would imagine that the President of Earth in 400 years would know all kinds of sciencey things.
