I’m getting 5 of these calls a day. I block each of the numbers immediately, but an hour later here it is from another number.

I can’t simply not answer from numbers I don’t recognize since the phone number is given to customers… Any other recommendations on how to have my phone recognize these as spam?

Sorry, while there are technologies that the phone companies can deploy to weed out calls from spoofed numbers, I do not have any technology recommendation for you that would let you, as an individual consumer, effectively screen out all calls from spoofed numbers.

      Administratively, may be see this:

Unfortunately when you answer it’s telling these companies that it’s a valid number so it’s probably increasing the frequency.

We seem to go through phases of getting the calls - we'll get a load for a while, and then they dry up. The same thing happens with spam emails. Maybe the phone company software catches up and starts blocking them.

          I was only joking
