    Crap. Piano’s ruined now. May I suggest a Bösendorfer 185VC?

      Yep, that's it for the piano. Get a new one.

        If you pay shipping, I'll take it off your hands.

        I was only joking

            Ebonitis… All of your white keys are turning into black one ones. Soon you will only be able to play pieces in a pentatonic scale.

              @Mik

              I think you may have to live with it; it is probably the black plastic underneath the finish. A friend of mine had a similar problem on his Yamaha stage piano.

              Tell people what guitar players tell others when they comment on the scratches and blemishes on their instrument:

              “It’s been to school.”

                Must have been ink. It came off with a magic eraser sheet.

                  Great! It graduated from school.

                    I was going to suggest just throwing away any sheet music that used that note, but looks like you've fixed it.

                      Just because it is gone now doesn't mean it didn't happen.

                        I can’t help but notice the inherently racist attitude you have towards pianos, Mik.
