The Curious Incident of the Bike Rack and Speeding Ticket

So, my folks were in town about two weeks ago. They flew in, so for the week, I gave them my car to borrow.
Based on my own investigations and mail analysis, I have surmised that they racked up three speeding tickets and twice drove my bike rack into something that broke two separate wheel stirrups.
Some notes:
- The speeding tickets all came from the same stretch of road, which is a notorious speed trap. It's a school zone that has a permanent low speed limit, 24/7. Many speed there under the mistaken impression that speed limit is only for the school year. So okay I kinda get it.
- My parents aren't used to having a bike rack attached to a hitch in the back of their car, which they can't see when driving so there's no visual reminder that it's there. So okay, I can kind of understand that, too.
I'm not too concerned about these incidents per se. But I do wonder about what this means in terms of where my parents are at, if you know what I mean. I'm at a usual age for this particular problem.

The tickets are all camera tickets, correct? In that case I would not be too worried.

LOL This was my question as well.
Such a juxtaposition to be asking whether the seniors are high. -

You're raising them well.
Good job, Dad.

We live in a strange time in that respect. My brother bought his college son edibles and sent them to him.

In many states the college kids can buy them legally. Including NY after 1/1/23
