There's roughly 300 Americans. Surely you're not telling me you're all totally hopeless? I've met a couple, maybe even like four or five who seemed relatively OK, that can't be a complete coincidence.

Yeah, there's widespread ignorance about the vastness, in physical size, influence and scope of implications of its actions, of the federal government. During his Presidency, for things/people/issues Trump didn't like he absolutely was a force for change against the swamp. For things/people/issues Trump did like he was an absolute swamp-loving monster. The idea that Trump drains the swamp is completely laughable.

Could this be a paradox? That there are non-cockwombles who are smart enough, but they're too smart to screw up their lives by taking on a fruitless, maddening, heartbreaking and impossible task.
