Travelers are also urged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive security messages and to make it easier to locate them in an emergency. I was wondering about that as well. Was it really worth it for a stunt to rise his popularity? As far as I know, Zawahiri hasn't coordinated much of anything the last 20 years.
Not that I'm sad he is gone, mind you.
