I learned something new today.
An acquaintance from my Mexico City days had a death in the family and posted about it on FB. There were maybe 150 comments, probably a third of them had “QEPD” as a stand-alone expression, IOW not part of a sentence.
It finally dawned on me that it’s the Spanish version of RIP.
