    Okay.

    Bigger house? Bigger yard? Acreage?

You know, anything past two acres requires a tractor. 😄

We're currently in a 1200 square foot thing, which is way too small - we're hoping to double it, and get a bigger yard - one we've looked at was about 0.4 acres, which is fine for the dogs and what-have-you.

We're moving away from Boston commuter-belt, probably to more rural places - at least, rural by New England standards. It gets a lot more affordable.

The place we looked at was originally built in the 1830's - which is actually pretty terrifying, but maybe liveable. It would be a project....

      I was only joking

You don't have to go too far into Maine to find an affordable mountain.

              Same for Vermont

@Aqua-Letifer it’s peculiar that you don’t get the whole LGB phenomenon as a populist phenomenon of ridicule against a corrupt political machine propping up the most inept and ridiculous administration in American politics which is systematically weakening America internationally, economically, and in border security and energy independence, all done in service of the technocracy and with the supine assistance of the media.

Sounds like they have paid their dues with their current square footage for so many years with 3 grown folks plus Phibes living there. It's not the same but we lived in a condo that was 1000 SF for about 11 years before moving to our current house. We wanted the extra space spread out a bit, without it being too much to keep clean. We're very much enjoying it.
