New York Post: "Israeli police said Friday they placed a couple under house arrest, a day after a man attending a party at their villa died after being sucked into a sinkhole that formed at the bottom of their swimming pool.
"The man and woman, both in their sixties, are suspected of causing death by negligence, police said.
"Israeli media reported that the homeowner had built the pool without proper licensing, making the couple a suspect of death by negligence.
"They were arrested on Thursday night and a court decided to release them Friday under “restrictive conditions of house arrest” for five days.

@jon-nyc from what i understood, no one knew someone was missing until a while later when the body was found...
and yes i heard the lawyer for the defense say that no regulator could have predicted a sink hole hazard

The guy making motions towards getting to the hole was either a lunatic, or he saw someone get sucked in before the video started.
