I thought this was going to be a euthanasia thread...

Well, it's a shoot 'em up, so there's several bodies hitting the floor.

IMDB gave it around an 8.

I watched the first episode, and it looked pretty good. Haven't gotten back to it yet.

I just finished Episode 2. Someone recommended it to me. So far so good, it's really unclear (on purpose) what the truth is and where the story will go, so I find that intriguing.

            Yeah. I'm only through #1.

But it sucks you in. "What the actual HELL is going on here?"

I love thrillers. Hopefully this won't disappoint.

ETA: A lot of the characters seem really cookie-cutter types. One of the reasons I got bored with the Vince Flynn books (I think I read two) was that the characters were very one-dimensional - like Amazon's "Reacher."

              I binged it.

Would you like to know how it ended? 😛😛

                OK - I'm in.

                Watched #2 this AM.

I kind of wish they'd get rid of the PTSD stuff in flashbacks, but I get it.

Loved the surprise ending at the end of the 1st episode. What the actual hell was that?

And dealing with Holder at the end of #2. Well, that'll make things interesting.

                  Haven't finished, but...

Getting kind of silly, imo. Methodically going through the "terminate list," with each person getting, basically one episode.

The entire desert chase thing was totally unnecessary to the plot and could have been done in about 10 minutes.

Maybe I'm just feeling that because I couldn't sleep and watched it at 1AM, LOL.

The guy with the severely wounded left shoulder which he auto-cauterizes with a heated knife (cliche' anyone) and then, at the end, jumps out of an airplane, only to walk out of the sea to see his friend.

                  Yeah...

I'll finish it, but as of now, it's 2 stars. Please don't tell me that his "issue" with the medication will just go away.

Not reading this thread (or GK's last post) since I feel spoilers or hints are inevitable and I'm uber anti-spoiler. I watched episode 3 yesterday, it was good since it helped bring a little clarity into the narrative. Will check this thread when I'm done with the season.

I really wanted to enjoy this.

It was a solid two-star "thriller." Characters were very two-dimensional, and the "twist" at the end felt like it was tacked on so you could say, "OH MY GOD! I NEVER SAW THAT COMING."

Good production values, and reasonably good acting. I blame the writer(s) for not making a better "thriller-ey" thriller.

                        Yawn.

Two episodes in, I’m more entranced with Slow Horses.

Finished it. It was...what I was expecting. Each episode had its own mini-plot, like you summarized above. I enjoyed the action, and the twist at the end I expected earlier, to be honest. Still, fun show... and pretty good action scenes. They squeezed about 8 episodes of juice out of a 3 episode lemon.

Pratt has now delivered two hits for Amazon.

Wonder what that means for the future?
