Mrs. George and I were on the way home from downtown this morning, and we came across this car on I290. Please excuse the out-of-focus shot. I grabbed it while we were stopped in traffic.

I know it's not clear, but it's a piece of cloth on the OUTSIDE of the drivers-side rear window.

    I don't get it.

Shading a baby most likely. Although they do make more sophisticated ways to do that.

Sunblock and were afraid the kid in the back seat would grab it if it was on the inside?

Spilled something on the shirt and going for the cheap dry method?

        Just dumb?

Some kind of shade was our impression as well.

But on the OUTSIDE of the car? What happens at 70 mph?

How was it attached? The window could also be stuck down and it might be a way to try and keep rain out, too.

Probably isn't this, but there are bug nets you can get for car camping. Put them over/around your windows so you can pull them down without worrying about bugs at night. Some of them look very much like this.

They can also work as a sun screen if they're thick enough, so maybe they're doubling up.

                Please love yourself.

All I can think of when I see this photo is: George has an alarmingly low battery status. Attach a charger!

Please check in when you get a chance George and let us know your battery level is ok.
