Okay, Mark, I tried an aeropress...

Not expensive, okay, willing to try it.

How you use it—grind, coffee amount, water amount, brew time—changes everything. Literally everything. I had to try a couple of different methods to get what I wanted. Basically the instructions out of the box were pretty close for me.
It's flexible, but stupidly simple. And cleanup takes about 5 seconds.

I'm sure it's good. And the website says it only takes 3 steps.
- Add coffee and water
- Stir and brew
- Press into mug
Let's actually count the steps.
- Put filter on cap
- Twist cap
- Place over mug
- Grind beans
- Add scoop of ground coffee
- Shake
- Boil water to 175 degrees F
- Stir
- Add plunger
- Push/pause/push
- DRINK COFFEE
- Remove cap
- Push out filter
- Rinse with water
For my one-cup keurig:
- Add K-cup
- Add water
- Place mug
- Press button
- Throw K-cup away
Yes... it's not as good as your fancy coffee, but see if I care at 5am after being up with kids

Is anybody going to give @Aqua-Letifer any shit? The guy belittles coffee drinkers for years and accuses them of being wusses because he drinks some super amped Japanese tea, and next thing you know here he is, drinking coffee….

As far as convenience, it takes 30 seconds to grind some coffee beans and spoon them into the filter. Are we really that lazy?

I can't quite drink tea again. When I recover from being sick, the tea really fucks me up. Like, lose my balance, nod off while sitting up kinda stuff. Gotta stick to coffee for a little bit.

Umm that's only steps 4 and 5 of the 14 step process. Clearly you can tell I can't spend an extra few minutes, I am so busy with work and with writing this post.

Nope, the original.
