With about a month to go before the GOP primary, it looks like Liz Cheney is positioned to lose to her competitor.

    So, what's her next move?

    Run as an independent?
    Run as a Democrat?
    Step aside?
    Something else that I'm missing?

I think she's enough of a political animal that she won't simply go away.

She could run as God Almighty and not get elected in Wyoming.

Furthermore, the Dems are going to kick her out of their good graces as soon as they're through with her. She's gonna get expelled like a 15 year-old kid projectile vomiting Boon's Farm on a Saturday night.

Well, there's a mental image I really didn't need tonight.

        She's done, right?

What has Liz Cheney ever done to deserve this?
She voted with Trump 92.7% of the time when Trump was in office, and she followed her conscience with regards to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Yup, I brought this up before. She had a much higher "pro Trump" voting record than the lady that replaced her.

But, at this moment in the history of the Republican party, if you are not willing to kiss the shoes of President Trump, then you are nobody.

Yeah, I really don't have a problem with her either. Nor Romney.

Well, I'm pretty sure that somebody besides Wyomians will get a chance to vote for her in the future.

Maybe she'll move to Ohio? 😁

Same. Looks like she'll lose and Congress will lose another mature adult from being in the room, which is a shame. But this does reflect the constituency, for better or worse, and our election process (presuming it is not destroyed) will keep things balanced in the long run.

                    Folks,

The U.S. is a Republic. As such, Ms. Cheney is the elected Congressman from Wyoming. In fact, the only one. As their representative, she needs to listen to her constituent's wishes and needs. But being a Republic, she can vote as she wishes.

And the voters of Wyoming can throw the bum out, if they wish. It is becoming increasingly apparent that is the wish of the good people of Wyoming.

May she get her ass stomped in a humiliating defeat, so that she may enjoy the air of Northern Virginia, which is where she lives, anyway.
