So, with the birth of G3 (see other thread) we've been with G2 (he'll be 4 in August) for the last 48 hours. D4 had a c-section, and SIL has been with her.

G2 has been with us all the time. Last night he slept with Mrs. George and I was in the guest bedroom.

Tonight, Mrs. George crawled into bed with him and I came to check on them, to find G2 "playing with his junk."

Really, this was the most polite way I could have described it.

So, I said to Mrs. George, "You see what he's doing, don't you?"

    "Yeah, I do."

    "You gonna address it?

    "Nope."

"Good idea. This is a conversation to be had by parents, not grandparents."

Having never had a son, I'm glad I didn't have to deal with this.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

      D4 responds:

"He does that every night when he falls asleep lol"

      I said, "So do I."

You can outsource that you know. Hell, some guys even get their wives to do it.

I never thought it was possible to emotionally scar one's adult children. Now I see that was wrong.
