Shoot, that's nothing. Thousands do that all over this country every day. Drunkenness is established when the upper extremity becomes too anesthetized to lift the bier can.

I remember seeing a documentary about the greatest advances in medicine since those times. There were many, but these stick out.
- Antibiotics & Vaccines
- Safe anesthesia
- The use of plastics in medicine
- Oxygen therapy
- Insulin
- Anticoagulants
- Sterile technique
