I have looked at the ingredients for 'plant-based' meat substitutes. Thank you, no. I'd rather eat honest vegetables and real meat.

      Impossible Burger ingredients:

Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, 2% Or Less Of: Potato Protein, Methylcellulose, Yeast Extract, Cultured Dextrose, Food Starch Modified, Soy Leghemoglobin, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (Antioxidant), Soy Protein Isolate, Vitamins and Minerals (Zinc Gluconate, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B12).

      Ingredients in beef:

      Beef

I was in Chiang Rai last week (upper north part of Thailand), and wandering around town, stopped at a cute looking restaurant. Turned out to be a vegan restaurant run by an older Polish lady. Interesting lady, loved to talk, etc.

Anyway, i had the "classic burger". Had very low expectations, but it actually was pretty good. Did not taste like a hamburger, but was tasty for what it was.

I've had similar experiences. They're not "bad," but they're certainly not meat.

Made gumbo last night with shrimp, chicken, and plant-based sausage. So I think I've effectively pissed off everybody.

            Please love yourself.
