From the article:
... new ad released this week by Missouri GOP Senate candidate Eric Greitens in which he waved around a gun and threatened to "hunt" Republicans who were thwarting former President Donald Trump's "America First" agenda.
Gun waving and threat to "hunt" other politicians. Is this what sells to most Republicans these days or only to Missouri Republicans?
-
My brother posts crap like this a lot, a constant demonization of Republicans, even though his brother is one and he knows differently.
You will never, ever bring people together doing this.

Say on. I'm still in the beginning of the Stengel book Information Wars, but the amount of disinformation out there now is beyond belief. It is a grievous, grievous situation. Disinformation has become an industry. (My word, not Stengel's.)
Just from my bit of reading, I'm to the point where I will not believe anything without corroborating it from another source -- especially if it has to do with current events or anything that has the potential for controversy.

I know a lot of Missouri Republicans and this does not characterize them at all. Once again, all you hear about is the fringes. Clickbait.

The problem that I think is, is that the primaries bring out the fringe sides. Allows the fringe candidates to get in.
To me that is a problem. I think it was @jolly who suggested something like ranked voting with a run off. I believe that some states already do that.

The GOP candidate’s gun-waving politician-hunting ad:

I can't imagine any "sane" campaign person thinking that that ad was a good idea. :eek

Yes. It's appalling and wearying, all at the same time.

I have no problem with the ad, and I suspect his target audience in Missouri understands exactly what he is saying.
Some of y'all need to get out to fly-over land.
