Plenty of folks who seem to prioritize their own feeling of boundless tolerance and wokeness at the expense of their kid's mental health, and physical health too, I guess.

We know that 80-90% of cases of pubescent and prepubescent Gender Dysphoria do resolve themselves within a few years as the child goes through puberty. To introduce Puberty Blockers and Transitioning Therapies (both medical and psychological) is NOT Gender Affirming Care. In fact, it is abuse and is putting these children at great risk.

One thought that occurred to me when I typed that was “It IS gender affirmative, but only to the adults that put transitioned themselves.” They need to see a huge number of kids transition in order to feel normal.
