    Holy crap, that sounds awful. Hopefully the worse is over at this point.

    I was only joking

        Thanks, everyone.

        She's fine.

        The question is why she keeps making stones. I'm not sure if it's her level of hydration, her diet, or what.

        After these episodes, I really think she needs to see someone who specializes in stones, and I've told her that.

        The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

          Isn't there a 24-hr urine test that can give some indications?

            @George-K

            Yes, there must be something that can help prevent this from happening. I hope she finds out what causes this. Miserable!

              Y'all, I'm getting old and the mind ain't what it was. This is stuff that falls in place hours later, that I used to know of the top of my head... Litholink...

                I read somewhere that drinking citrus juice daily, with Orange Juice being being the most effective, helps prevent stones?

                  Kidney stones often have no definite, single cause, although several factors may increase your risk.

                  [a long list of risk factors that can be summarized as "being alive" follows]

                  Damn, that sounds like one of these conditions were it's very hard to ever pin down a cause.

                    Acidificaion of the urine, like with cranberry juice, works.

                    There are reasons why D3 can't do that, however.
