Biden says MAGA most extreme group in recent history

As I've said many times, I think Trump is a loathsome individual, and I would not want to have a drink with him, or, God forbid, have one of my kids date him,
But, what, exactly, is Biden talking about when he says "MAGA is extreme?"
And no, I didn't watch the video because I haven't had enough (cheap) Scotch yet, and I don't intend to because after I've had enough (cheap) Scotch, I won't care.

Two things are interesting. Now that Dems are wholesale condemning Maga as a radical organization, it’s most curious that they say that. There is no Maga organization. It doesn’t exist
The second thing is that as news outlets talk about the leak etc, the show the table patients lie on just like they do the death chamber in capital punishment stories. They look remarkably similar except with an abortion you don’t have to strap the unwilling down.

The battle for the election is for the middle X% of the US voters.
President Trump lost a significant portion of the "middle" in the last election.
I believe that strategy that President Biden is trying is to remind those "middle" people why they turned away from President Trump.
Typical politics - dont campaign on what is good about you Campaign on what is bad about the other side.

If we're in the middle of a recession and stagflation is our plight of the moment in 2024, Trump could win. Depending on his opponent, maybe win in a walk.

@jolly YOu are correct. People however have short memories and that is what President Biden is counting on. Economy recovers (maybe not this election) but before the next one) and that is what people will remember.
It happened to President Trump in the 2020 election. January 2020, he was in really good shape for another term.
Economy goes extremely downward (not his fault, I understand) and he is not reelected (other factors involved also, but that was one of the main ones).

Maybe. Depends on how fast the economy can turn around and how the media handles it (Bush41, anybody?).
Right now, we are on the cusp of a recession and I don't see how The Resident avoids it.
The question is how deep and how long...
