The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Haha he was funny, and those contestants were pretty dumb. BTW I noticed he looked down at one point, they must get the questions ahead of time to figure out witty responses.

@89th yeah, I'm sure that a lot of that was scripted.

But no one was funnier than Paul Lynde on HS.

Be careful there. Some of us are of similar vintage.

              for example me...

i havent seen clips of hollywood squares in a million years, i guess i watched it as a young kid, and never since, and i realize that all those nudge nudge wink wink "gay" jokes of paul lynde went right past me, i had no idea he was gay, i just thought he talked a bit funny. I was young.

now watching again, hard to imagine it was on 60's TV.

as for Gottfried, his death was a bit jarring for me because i just by chance started listening to his podcast about 6 months ago which i came across by chance, it was always entertaining to say the least, and i had a few episodes lined up for listening on my commute when i heard of his passing, it seemed so sudden because on the shows he was always so lively with no hint of any medical condition.

              anyway,, sad.
