@Horace true, I could see them naming “Privilege” as the person of the year. White, or rich or whatever... although I’m sure the 2020 person of the year will be frontline/ER workers.

@jon-nyc Did you watch that episode (where that pic came from) in Always Sunny in Philadelphia? It's one of their best. If you haven't seen the show and want some ridiculously crude humor, it's one of the best comedies on TV (start with Season One...lots of related jokes as the seasons go on).

It's a pretty good show. I'm not sure jon would choose to spend his time watching it, but I agree it's a pretty good show.

Here's the DENNIS (his name) System clip. I agree @Horace that Jon may have better uses of his time. Like TNCR!

I’m actually not a fan of the whole ‘Karen’ terminology but can’t help but laugh at some of these memes.

I suppose most mainstream progressive white women are sure they're not the ones pop culture is currently in mid-sneer at.

I know several people named Karen (yeah, I'm that old).

I haven't had the balls temerity to ask how they're doing.

                          Well there’s that.

Also, it is often used simply as a term of racial animus to women of a certain age even with no apparent link to any specific behavior.

                              One of the real-life Karens:

Those who watched Dr. Who in the last few years may remember her as Amy Pond.
