    Better hurry.

My son's home that he paid $220k for a little over three years ago, is now worth over $500k. In Pflugerville.

All that apple money. Probably shouldn’t buy within commute distance of Austin.

Texas hill country is very nice. Florida? Meh.

What’s hill country? Living close to or on a big walkable hill is ideal for me.

Edit: I googled it. Pretty small hills but looks nice.

That's actually seems pretty likely. Assuming you don't get bitten by a scorpion or a snake first.

If u could move anywhere, Florida would be pretty low on the list.

Me? If language wasn’t an issue I would move to Finland.

But in the English speaking world, I think some rural Vermont or alternatively some rural New Zealand would be a fine place to seek peaceful days and nights.

Yeah - home on a big wooded lot in a rural neighborhood would be ideal for me.

We were looking at New Brunswick which is both beautiful and affordable, but the freaking winters would be tough.

Yes I would like to live in a place like in the old Newhart show where he owned a bed and breakfast. Also a different country or Hawaii are options.

The people I know who retired to Florida also kept a place on Cape Cod to escape to for the summer.

The problem with The Cape is there's absolutely nothing to do unless you like boats and shit.

Much of Florida has an infrastructure that supplies what retired seniors need and want.

Lots of golf, cheap booze, warm weather, other retired people and of course lots of medical care.

Vermont has country roads that are buried in snow for half the year. It is nice enough in summer but that is only June, July and August.

New Zealand is so far left politically I think it would be tough to swallow.

The cape has baseball and lots of Red Sox fans, the traffic in summer is terrible. Most of the beaches are private. In Falmouth you can wait in line for an hour to get a parking spot to get access to the public beach.

I have been looking at Disney prices recently.

These days a Disney vacation might be worth more than a Super bowl win.

Try Minnesota. It’s what I did.

Of course you could do the US Virgin Islands, maybe Ireland. Anywhere!
