Of course George, it would be bizarre to suggest that Jackson “lost” McCarthy. I was referring to Hawley’s disingenuous Hail Mary.

    Only non-witches get due process.

      Fawning about her color

He had no interest who or what was inside that color

He was joyous about the color

      color, color, color

        @jon-nyc right.

McCarthy's subsequent objections. are more substantive.

Nevertheless, your statement is "When you've lost McCarthy." It was Hawley who lost McCarthy, not Jackson.

Before going on about child pornography, here's Hawley doing the elbow with Matt Gaetz

Not that there's anything ironic about that, of course.

          I was only joking

@Doctor-Phibes Gaetz might well be guilty of the crimes which are insinuated.

Until he's proven guilty, he's not (that's how our system works, much to your apparent dismay).

But the corollary to your picture...if he is found guilty, would Judge Jackson reduce his sentence below prosecutorial requests?

Either that or transporting presumably not underage girls across state lines. Haven't looked lately.

Today's big Ketanji news is that she is unable to define what is a woman.

She was asked for her definition during today's hearing.

Her answer: no, I'm not a biologist.

                      Tucker is all over it.

                        Funny one from Ken White:

It’s almost as if Jackson, as a district court judge, has experience dealing with irritating, performatively rude, mediocre white guys.

The WaPo prints this, presumably with a straight face:

Republicans boast they have not pulled a Kavanaugh. In fact, they’ve treated Jackson worse.

I cant find the table (though I am sure it is out there somewhere), but it was a table showing the final votes for each Supreme court justice when the US senators voted on them.

if I remember, judges nominated by Democrat presidents (at least in modern history) usually got a higher number of confirmation votes.

Depending on which side you are on, both statements are true:

                                    1. Republicans are more willing to put bias to the side and vote strictly on qualifications
                                      or
                                    2. Democrats are more likely to nominate judges who are more in the center and hold no political view.

                                    LOL

I cant find the table (though I am sure it is out there somewhere), but it was a table showing the final votes for each Supreme court justice when the US senators voted on them.

if I remember, judges nominated by Democrat presidents (at least in modern history) usually got a higher number of confirmation votes.

Depending on which side you are on, both statements are true:

                                        1. Republicans are more willing to put bias to the side and vote strictly on qualifications

Today's big Ketanji news is that she is unable to define what is a woman.

She was asked for her definition during today's hearing.

Her answer: no, I'm not a biologist.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
