Excellent article. Should give everyone pause for thought:

Amusing how the term to explain this phenomenon, "Westplaining", is a cooption of "Mansplaining", an invention of, you guessed it, leftist American pop culture media. Messaging and verbiage that the rest of the world inevitably bases its ignorant opinions of America on.

Thank you for translating that for us but other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, did you understand what the article had to say?

Yeah, those who don't have an understanding of some detail about a situation shouldn't comment or have a strong opinion. It's not a difficult concept, but one that is violated relentlessly by the rest of the world when it comes to opinions about America. I was commenting on that irony.

24-hour news cycle.
It's the story of the moment and they gotta fill airtime. Same thing as Trump fixation...If it draws eyeballs, the media is going to pound it. Whether their story is true or just conjecture.

Hate to break it to you folks, but the article is not exclusively about Americans.
Sometimes it is not about you.
The article is about how the West in general has not listened to the voices of East Europeans and the Baltic’s who for some years now were warning us of this impending storm.

Then they should have been pounding on the French, the Germans, the Turks and the Brits.

Nobody ever claimed it was all about America. In fact in my description of what it was about, I used general terms. I got specific by pointing out a specific irony.

But I suspect European news services are much like ours.

I see. Now that you have “Horacesplained” it to me, all is clear.

I remember a time you were sick of dealing with me. Now you're just being a little pest again. Make up your mind.

As opposed to threads you didn't start and have no ability to comment in? Are you sure you're right in the head?
I am sorry if the material provided in the link is over your head.
Oh, goodness, have you lost respect for me? Continue to pose, you angry little man. Maybe I'll merit a wish of death from you, if I play my cards right.

So it was over your head. Okay.
We can all but hope to aspire to your insightful genius, Renauda. So impressive, and not at all the posturing of an insecure little man.
