OK, I've watched about 10 minutes of this.

It's no different than other SOTUs, but it reminds me of the so-called "pep rallies" that I had to endure in high school.

Lots of rooting for our team, lots of nice, encouraging and rallying words, but...basically empty words.

The only difference seems to be which side of the building stands up and applauds.

Restore the written report, FTW!

Well to be fair, Biden was 49 years old when Ukraine gained its independence and back then there was a debate if the "k" was silent. So he didn't say Iranian, he said Urainian. Obv.

Also... anyone else see Pelosi literally almost fall over when she got up so fast after the "support our veterans" line? Man, that was so close to being THE highlight of the night.

It was remarkable how strong of a "We must FUND the police!" statement he made, to a rowdy applause. If there has ever been a clearer case of spineless politicians, that was it. Can you imagine ANY of them (Joe, Kamala, et al) saying that 12-18 months ago?
