Caryn Elaine Johnson says the Holocaust was not racist
-
The two-week suspension is just them trying to say 'well we did something' - it seems more than a bit childish.
Why not just introduce a Naughty Chair?
They'd really be better off examining and discussing why Whoopi Goldberg believes this about race, because I think it's indicative of a larger issue, particularly in America, where people frequently seem to think of race as being binary. You're either black, or white, with a quiet shout-out for 'Hispanic', which doesn't even mean what it says.

I’m trying to figure out which is more stupid, her comment or the 2 week suspension.
I think the suspension wins.

Seen on Twitter: The 2 week PR-driven cool-off period that companies give to employees who say something controversial will now be known as a ‘whoopi cushion’

Whoopie's pissed and threatening to quit.
Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
It's kind of delicious watching them eat their own, and Whoopie's to stupid to see this.

Tyrus said on Gutfeld! last night he had talked to some of buddies who do some security work for one of the hosts of The View.
He was told that Whoopi and Behar simply do not like each other, never hang out between segments and Behar was delighted with Whoopi's current situation

Do I think she was stupid for saying what she said?
Yup.
Do I think she was ignorant as to what racism can be?
Yup.
Do I think her apology was sincere?
Insofar as that she realizes the two things above, yup. As in, "I'm sorry you were offended" sorry.
