Bluey is like the best sort of pixar movie. Truly enjoyable for any age.

They've gone the extra mile to include stuff that kids won't care about or notice.

    And great writing.

If it was better, it would be more popular.

      Peppa rules, Bluey drools.

Prejudice against the barbarian Colonials. As usual.

Seriously, it's awesome. Aside from fish & chip shops featuring barramundi, epic floods and that Dundee guy, it's the best thing to ever come out of QLD.

The best thing is that the show creators' kids do the voices. And some dude in a band called Custard who literally phones it in—his parts are recorded remotely when he's touring.

What I like about it—and what is apparently a deliberate choice on the part of the creators—is it normalizes making up silly games and using your imagination. No organized playdates, no structured activities, no supervised events, no smarmy morality tales. The whole thing is kids making shit up, as kids are supposed to do.

My son often starts playing the games from the show with me. (Statues, jumping on shadows, etc.)

      We love it.

Shit I played a lot of the games in the show as a kid, just forgot about it. Plus they have better names for the games (like Shadowlands.)

If you've never played Keepy Uppy you've made some terrible life choices.

        Please love yourself.

My granddaughter loves Peppa. I have noticed some of the things she says, came from this show.

Blippi is worth like $50 million. He's basically doing a youtube version of Pee-Wee.

Apparently he used to be a gross-out youtuber before blippi. He made an Harlem shake video where he pooped on his naked friend.

Okay, I'm doubling down on my assertions.

For you folks who have Disney+, watch the "bike" episode. It's literally the best fucking thing I've seen produced for kids, ever. (And no it's not really about bikes.)

They also did their own version of The Little Prince, which was wonderful. I'm surprised that book hasn't been banned, but I digress.

                                          And ADHD.

Without ever using the words "death," "miscarriage" or "ADHD."

It's the best kid's show ever made. Come at me, bro, I don't give a shit.

                                          Please love yourself.
