Where the Founding Fathers Would Stand Today

That was interesting. But as he said, it is so difficult to try and imagine how living in a different era would have changed things for them.
"Washington - .....and strict adherence to the original, written Constitution — served him well in most instances"
But the Constitution was a pretty much new document at that point.
"Jefferson - ...who believed in an agrarian nation. "
Farmers were probably 90+% of the population at that time.
Anyways, a good thinking exercise

Yeah - the interesting part is that the founding fathers were literally revolutionaries. Progressives of their day.

Yes. Not a single one of the founding fathers could even remotely be said to be a progressive. Not one.

If the founding fathers were alive today, one thing I do know is they'd be fucking old.
I rather suspect they'd be a bit out of touch.

Anyone with any sense at all is out of touch with the current state of society.

Some bits are dreadful, some bits are good. Just like back then.

If James Madison were alive today, you know Trump would call him "Little Jimmy" on twitter

Trump would also be relegated to only having the third most unconvincing hairdo in Washington.
