Dude, it's Mardi Gras in Jeff Parish. I don't give a shit if they beat a half-dozen of them with lead pipes. You don't have a clue what those cops go through at that time of year or the caliber of people they have to keep in line.
Many of those cops work sixteen hours a day for the final week and it's only by God's Grace and a thin blue line that more people aren't hurt or killed during that week.
It is disappointing that you think, and expects, so little of law enforcement professionals. Just like you neither expect not condone doctors for making up diagnoses after working long hours, you should neither expect nor condone officers of the law for filing false charges after working long hours.
Do you submit to the tyranny of low expectations.
Help me to help you.
I'm offering you a chance to make a difference. Give up your insular, judgemental life and go meet some wonderful people while wearing a badge and a gun.

Dude, do you have any idea how hard a cop's job is? Working long hours, never knowing if someone is about to pull a gun, seeing dead bodies and body parts, dealing with every type of person, mentally ill, drunk, drugged, assaulted, performing medical services, body combat, how to use all of the items on your tool belt, knowing all of the radio codes, police driving skills, knowing ummm the law, enforcing the law on idiots who should be following it, writing up paperwork on ever step you take in the field, oh and now dealing with bystanders interfering and/or insulting and/or threatening cops as they do their job. I give the police a LOT of slack.

I'm guessing that's a hard no.
One of my favorite leftist dichotomies is that nobody could ever possibly imagine or understand the plight of the oppressed, while at the same time they have an intimate understanding of what it is to be a cop, sufficient to sit in judgment of them and indeed of the entire society that employs them.

Ah, my friend, you've fallen for one of the classic blunders! Never take Ax's posts seriously for he will so seldom do the same for you!

Well, how can you study people if you answer questions about you and your views?

Unfortunately, if we don't like using the current Ax platform, we cannot simply build our own.

This. Things happen for police man so so fast. It is easy to break down a video one/ten of a second at a time and second guess.
Somebody here, maybe Jolly posted a video where they had a "anti-police" activist be put in various "staged" scenarios that police see all the time. He came out of the exercise with a new perspective and appreciation of the work that police do.
